Objective:
The RCP program aims to create internship opportunities for university students interested in pursuing a career in internal auditing. This initiative serves as an excellent starting point in an esteem organization for students to explore and understand the internal audit profession.
Criteria:
- Must be an active Corporate Member of IIA Malaysia.
- Must commit to providing a minimum number of internship placements (e.g., 2-5 students per year).
- Must have a structured internship program that includes exposure to internal audit processes and activities.
- Assign at least one mentor (e.g., a senior internal auditor) to guide the interns throughout their internship period.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internship regulations, including providing any necessary allowances or benefits.

- Encourage participation in IIA Malaysia’s professional events, such as conferences or training programs, for both interns and staff.
